Mission Trips
Do I need a passport to attend a mission trip.
 Most mission trips are held in foreign countries in which a valid passport is necessary.

Do I have to speak the language of the country that I want to travel to.
 Knowing the language is always a big help, but is not a requirement. When necessary, interpreters will be available.

Is my payment for the mission trip tax deductible?
 Not yet! Health Missions has applied for its 501(c) status and is awaiting response from the IRS. We anticipate a positive response any day now! Once approval is granted, donations that are made to this non-profit organization will be tax-deductible.

Will I be roughing it on this mission trip?
 Most Likely! Health Missions loves to incorporate adventure activities into the mission. If you don’t like dirt, bugs, or not having a hair dryer, maybe this trip isn’t for you.

Do I have to be a doctor to go on a mission trip?
 No. Although each trip will consist of a team of doctors we will also need a small support staff.
